Privacy notice

This notice covers enquiries and bookings made through Sell My Company Data.

What you share

Our forms collect the contact and company details you enter. Seller enquiries also send your calculator answers, selected systems, indicative range, your connection to the data and any optional description. Buyer and referral forms send the brief or introduction you provide. Do not include confidential records, customer information or datasets in these forms.

How we use it

We use your submission to assess the enquiry, prepare for a conversation, respond to you and manage any resulting introduction or licensing discussion. Submitting an enquiry does not give us permission to access or license your business records.

Website and booking providers

The website uses GitHub Pages and Cloudflare. Enquiries are sent to a Cloudflare service for processing and storage. Authorised team members may review an enquiry in internal tools to respond to it. When you open the booking calendar, Cal.com receives the information needed for scheduling. If you book after submitting the seller form, your name and email are passed to Cal.com to prefill the booking.

Website analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to understand website visits. We also make anonymous interaction events, such as opening the calendar, available within the page. These interaction events contain no names, email addresses or form contents.

Optional analytics

When enabled for this website, Google Analytics and PostHog measure visits and a small set of actions: starting or completing the calculator, submitting an enquiry, and opening the calendar. They load or receive events only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Declining does not affect the calculator or booking forms. You can change your choice using “Analytics preferences” in the footer when these integrations are enabled.

We exclude form answers, contact details and URL query strings from these events. PostHog uses an anonymous session identifier; session recording and automatic form tracking are not used. Google Analytics can use analytics cookies after consent. A calendar opening is not counted as a confirmed booking. Browser privacy signals that opt out of tracking are respected.

Your choices

You can use the calculator without submitting your details. You can also open the booking calendar directly. To ask about access, correction or deletion of a submitted enquiry, contact James through the booking calendar. Do not include sensitive information in the booking notes.
